GOAL welcomes its first Ph.D. student

GOAL is pleased to welcome Andrew Moura as our first Ph.D. student starting Fall 2022! Andrew graduated with a B.Sc. in Biology from Villanova University in May 2022, where he worked on the phenotypic plasticity of adhesion in sea urchin tube feet for his senior thesis. Andrew already has one first-author publication under his belt and is expected to have more coming out this year based on his senior thesis research. Andrew will continue his research on the functional morphology and biomechanics of sea urchin tube foot attachment in GOAL. Welcome, Andrew!
